Horse Racing at Yavapai Downs ~ Prescott, AZ

June 12th, AZCC's cruise to Somewhere took us to our first horseracing adventure at Yavapai Downs in Prescott. We had great seats, good food, and even got to have a race in our name...... and the big winner for this race was J.P. ... he picked three for three!

We met in Anthem and were joined on the ride up by Cyndi's daughter Megan and her boyfriend Mark.

Getting to Prescott in record time, we joined Bill and Vicky at their campsite for coffee before race time. It was really cold and we the big saviors were Megan and Al. They provide 6 people with jackets which they had stashed in their car!

When it was time, we joined met more friends for the big event and totally had blast. The big winners were Megan and Al with total winnings of $8.50 to the positive... We are such big spenders!

After the race, we returned to Vicky and Bill's RV for a barbeque. Good Food!
